AI Security Architect

We are looking for an AI Security Architect to help shape and strengthen the security posture of advanced AI solutions. This Long-term Contract position offers the opportunity to guide secure architecture decisions for AI applications, intelligent agents, copilots, and model-driven platforms while working closely with technical and governance stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in cybersecurity architecture and practical experience addressing the unique risks associated with generative AI, machine learning, and cloud-based environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead comprehensive security architecture evaluations for AI-enabled products, including intelligent assistants, automated agents, coding copilots, and other model-powered solutions.

• Conduct structured threat assessments and risk analyses focused on issues such as prompt manipulation, unauthorized model behavior, sensitive data exposure, training-data compromise, and third-party AI dependencies.

• Create and maintain secure design principles, architectural standards, and implementation guardrails that support responsible AI deployment across the enterprise.

• Collaborate with engineering, enterprise architecture, cloud, data protection, privacy, legal, and risk teams to embed security requirements throughout the AI solution lifecycle.

• Examine model interactions, application data movement, agent orchestration patterns, vector storage technologies, AI gateways, and cloud hosting configurations to identify security gaps.

• Define and improve controls for runtime protection, content governance, telemetry collection, monitoring, logging, and incident response within AI environments.

• Support alignment with internal security policies, established AI security frameworks, and applicable regulatory or governance expectations.

• Contribute to architecture review forums, exception and risk decision processes, and broader AI governance efforts to promote secure adoption at scale.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in security architecture, application security, cloud security, or a closely related cybersecurity discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of direct experience securing AI, generative AI, machine learning, or agent-based technology solutions.
• Strong understanding of AI security architecture, threat modeling, and cloud security across major platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Working knowledge of identity and access management concepts and broader enterprise security controls relevant to AI deployments.
• Hands-on familiarity with large language models, generative AI platforms, and modern AI application architectures.
• Experience with agent frameworks, vector databases, AI gateways, and model-serving platforms used in production environments.
• Background in cybersecurity technologies such as firewall platforms, configuration management, and network security tools is beneficial.
