Salesforce Technical Architect (Software Engineer IV)

We are looking for a Salesforce Technical Architect (Software Engineer IV) to lead the technical strategy, architecture, and delivery of a large-scale Salesforce environment. This role combines hands-on engineering with architectural ownership, guiding decisions across Salesforce and Azure while supporting secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions. The position also plays a key role in advancing data-driven marketing capabilities, AI-enabled workflows, and engineering practices that improve quality, automation, and deployment speed.

Responsibilities:

• Define the technical roadmap for the Salesforce ecosystem and determine the most effective approach for building capabilities within the platform or extending them through Azure-based services.

• Design and oversee integrations connecting Salesforce with internal and external systems, using resilient near real-time and event-driven patterns to maintain reliable data flow.

• Lead the rollout of Salesforce Data 360 and enhance supporting data pipelines that enable segmentation, analytics, and AI-powered business processes.

• Establish architecture standards, review solution designs and code, and ensure engineering output meets expectations for security, scalability, and long-term maintainability.

• Strengthen the software delivery lifecycle by introducing automated checks for code quality, testing, and security validation across development and release processes.

• Advance CI/CD practices by improving Python-based deployment pipelines and enabling frequent, dependable releases with minimal manual effort.

• Mentor a distributed team of engineers by providing technical direction, coaching on platform design patterns, and promoting consistent engineering excellence.

• Build and guide development of complex Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and declarative tools, while also supporting services and APIs built with Node.js and Python.

• Define integration standards, API contracts, and automation frameworks that support dependable interoperability across enterprise platforms and cloud environments.

Requirements

• Proven experience serving in a Salesforce architecture leadership role within a complex enterprise environment.
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, and declarative automation tools.
• Strong background designing distributed integrations, APIs, and event-driven architectures across cloud and enterprise systems.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services and development using Node.js and Python for off-platform solutions.
• Expertise in secure software design, platform governance, and implementation of quality controls throughout the development lifecycle.
• Experience building or improving CI/CD pipelines, automated testing practices, and deployment automation in fast-paced engineering organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineers across multiple experience levels in a distributed team structure.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and architecture standards in support of scalable, reliable platform delivery.
