Software Developer

We are looking for a Software Developer to join a team in New York, New York on a Long-term Contract assignment. This position focuses on building and supporting modern web applications using a mix of frontend and backend technologies, with an emphasis on dependable performance and clean, maintainable code. The ideal candidate is comfortable diagnosing technical issues independently and can contribute effectively in environments where healthcare data standards and compliance expectations are important.

Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications using TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Microsoft .NET technologies.
• Build responsive user interfaces and support backend services that enable reliable application performance across the full stack.
• Investigate technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective fixes to improve system stability.
• Work independently to manage development tasks, prioritize deliverables, and complete assignments with minimal supervision.
• Write clear, maintainable code in C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, and .NET Framework within established development standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into practical software solutions.
• Support applications that operate in healthcare-related environments while following applicable data handling and compliance expectations.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience developing software with TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Proficiency in .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Framework.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with a focus on resolving application issues efficiently.
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities in a self-directed manner.
• Solid JavaScript development experience in support of modern web applications.
• Healthcare industry experience is strongly preferred, particularly in settings with data privacy or regulatory considerations.
