M365 Engineer

Senior Microsoft 365 / Copilot & Power Platform Engineer

We are seeking a senior Microsoft technology professional to support enterprise Microsoft 365 initiatives, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Copilot/Copilot Studio and Power Platform. This role combines hands-on solution development and implementation with administration, engineering, governance, optimization and ongoing support.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build and implement solutions across Microsoft 365, Copilot and Power Platform
• Lead or support end-to-end Microsoft Copilot Studio deployments
• Develop and implement generative AI/Copilot solutions that improve business processes and user experiences
• Build Power Platform solutions while also supporting governance, security, environments and enterprise rollout strategies
• Administer and engineer Microsoft 365 environments, including Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Microsoft Purview and Viva
• Develop and maintain governance, security, compliance and adoption strategies
• Automate administrative and operational processes using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API
• Troubleshoot and optimize Microsoft 365 environments and enterprise solutions
• Create Power BI dashboards and reports to support operational and business needs
• Participate in enterprise modernization, migration and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

What You’ll Need

• Strong hands-on Microsoft 365 administration and engineering experience in an enterprise environment
• Hands-on Microsoft Copilot Studio deployment experience
• Experience implementing Microsoft Copilot/generative AI solutions
• Strong Power Platform experience, including both solution development/maker skills and governance/rollout strategy
• Experience with Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Microsoft Purview and/or Viva
• Strong PowerShell scripting experience
• Experience using Microsoft Graph API for automation, administration and troubleshooting
• Experience creating Power BI dashboards and reports
• Strong understanding of Microsoft security, governance, compliance and enterprise administration
• Ability to work across both technical implementation and ongoing operational support

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting 10,000+ users or other large enterprise environments
• Financial services, banking or other regulated-industry experience
• Enterprise migration or modernization experience
• Experience with Slack, Confluence or Miro
• Experience working with co-hosted solutions and enterprise systems

Work Arrangement

This is a long-term contract opportunity with potential for extension and possible conversion to a full-time position. The role is fully remote within the U.S. and requires working Central Time hours.

On-Call Support

Participation in a rotating after-hours support schedule may be required periodically, primarily around major rollouts and implementations.
