Software Engineering Manager

We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to guide Salesforce solution delivery while staying actively involved in development work. This position partners with cross-functional teams in Enola, Pennsylvania to create secure, scalable, and high-performing applications that support business goals. The role blends technical leadership, architectural oversight, and team development to ensure reliable enterprise integrations and strong engineering practices.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, build, and ongoing enhancement of Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and related platform tools while contributing directly to code delivery.
• Direct technical strategy for Salesforce initiatives by evaluating architecture choices and aligning scalability, security, and performance with organizational priorities.
• Provide hands-on leadership across the full software lifecycle, including solution design, development, testing, release coordination, and production support.
• Coach and develop engineers through regular feedback, code reviews, and practical guidance that strengthens technical quality and team accountability.
• Oversee integration design and support data exchange between Salesforce and connected enterprise systems to maintain consistency and operational reliability.
• Work closely with product owners, analysts, administrators, and business stakeholders to turn strategic objectives into effective technical solutions.
• Support Agile execution by contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, and delivery tracking for Salesforce development work.
• Uphold coding standards, security expectations, and data governance practices across all implementations and releases.
• Manage CI/CD activities and coordinate deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
• Investigate complex platform issues, improve system performance, and stay current with Salesforce advancements such as Financial Services Cloud, Data 360, and MuleSoft to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and platform configuration.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, integration patterns, and platform best practices across enterprise environments.
• Experience building and supporting APIs and system integrations using modern web technologies such as JavaScript, .NET, and C#.
• Proven ability to lead engineering teams while remaining directly involved in software design and development.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical decisions and tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Background working in Agile Scrum environments with experience in planning, estimation, and iterative delivery.
• Solid understanding of secure development practices, code quality standards, and data governance requirements.
• Familiarity with Financial Services Cloud, Data 360, and MuleSoft in a Salesforce ecosystem.
