About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Network Architect to join a team in a contract-to-permanent capacity. This role focuses on designing, supporting, and improving core infrastructure across servers, cloud services, identity platforms, and enterprise networking. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation in Microsoft environments, virtualization, and network security, along with the ability to diagnose complex issues and build reliable solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server environments to support stable and secure business operations.
• Lead server installation, configuration, and ongoing optimization for on-premises and virtual infrastructure.
• Administer identity and access services across Active Directory, Azure / Entra ID, and related IAM solutions.
• Manage and support Microsoft 365 services, ensuring effective configuration, performance, and user access.
• Oversee virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V to improve system availability and resource utilization.
• Configure and troubleshoot network components including switches, routing, VLANs, and Layer 2 / Layer 3 connectivity.
• Maintain firewall rules and security configurations while resolving connectivity and access issues across the environment.
• Perform advanced network diagnostics to identify root causes, restore service quickly, and strengthen infrastructure resilience.
• Collaborate on architecture initiatives involving cloud platforms, application connectivity, and API-driven integrations where needed.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Windows Server administration, server deployment, and systems configuration.
• Deep knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure / Entra ID, and identity and access management concepts.
• Experience with virtualization technologies, including VMware and Hyper-V.
• Solid understanding of switching, routing, VLANs, firewalls, and Layer 2 / Layer 3 networking principles.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex network and infrastructure issues in production environments.
• Familiarity with cloud and platform technologies such as Amazon EC2, Snowflake, API development, or application architecture is preferred.

• Proven experience designing and supporting enterprise infrastructure in a Network Architect or similar role.• Strong hands-on expertise with Windows Server administration, server deployment, and systems configuration.
• Deep knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure / Entra ID, and identity and access management concepts.
• Experience with virtualization technologies, including VMware and Hyper-V.
