AI Consultant

We are looking for an AI Consultant to collaborate with department leadership in Aurora, Colorado and uncover practical ways to apply artificial intelligence across reporting, analytics, and process improvement efforts. This Long-term Contract position focuses on turning business needs into scalable AI-driven solutions that strengthen operational efficiency, improve data quality, and support better decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in Microsoft Copilot and can guide teams on effective AI workflow automation strategies in a clear, business-friendly manner.

Responsibilities:
• Work closely with departmental leaders to assess current processes and pinpoint where AI can add value in analytics, reporting, and operational workflows.
• Create and deliver AI-based solutions that streamline tasks, enhance reporting reliability, and improve overall team productivity.
• Advise stakeholders on practical use cases for Microsoft Copilot and related AI tools that align with departmental goals.
• Translate business challenges into solution designs that support smarter decision-making and measurable process improvements.
• Provide guidance to staff on effective AI workflow automation approaches, including adoption best practices and responsible usage.
• Evaluate existing reporting and analytics needs and recommend AI-enabled methods to increase accuracy, speed, and usability.
• Support implementation efforts by helping teams integrate AI capabilities into day-to-day operations and business processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working with AI solutions, with a strong emphasis on workflow automation, reporting, and analytics.
• Demonstrated expertise using Microsoft Copilot in business or enterprise environments.
• Hands-on background in AI engineering and AI infrastructure design.
• Strong ability to communicate technical AI concepts to non-technical audiences and departmental staff.
• Proven experience identifying opportunities to improve business operations through AI-driven solutions.
• Ability to design and implement practical, scalable AI solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.
• Experience working with academic medical institutions is a plus.
