About the Role
- Lead the migration of multiple Active Directory forests into a new enterprise identity landscape.
- Design and implement secure identity migration solutions aligned with security and architectural standards.
- Manage user, group, and identity synchronization using Microsoft Entra ID Connect Cloud and Entra Connect Sync.
- Ensure legacy credentials and passwords cannot be reused within the new environment.
- Assess application authentication methods (Kerberos, SAML, OIDC, Forms Authentication, etc.) and define appropriate migration approaches.
- Support application and server migration activities in collaboration with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams.
- Troubleshoot complex identity, authentication, and synchronization issues during migration phases.
- Perform security reviews and validate compliance with Active Directory and identity management best practices.
- Work closely with stakeholders to document dependencies, migration requirements, and implementation plans.
- Contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and Agile delivery activities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to project teams and operational staff.
- Support the adoption of cloud-first solutions and Microsoft Azure services where applicable.
- 7+ years of experience in Active Directory administration, engineering, and migration projects.
- Strong expertise in Active Directory architecture, security, and identity management.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale AD, Azure AD, or Entra ID migration programs.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID Connect Cloud and Entra Connect Sync.
- Strong understanding of authentication and federation technologies, including Kerberos, SAML, OAuth, and OIDC.
- Experience with application identity integration and migration strategies.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud identity services.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Fluent English.
