Software Developer

We are looking for a Software Developer to join a healthcare-focused organization in Dallas, Texas on a contract-to-permanent basis. This position will build and support enterprise integrations that connect business-critical platforms, enabling secure and dependable data movement across HR, finance, recruiting, IT service management, and related functions. The role works closely with stakeholders, application teams, and technical leaders to turn operational needs into scalable integration and automation solutions. Responsibilities:
• Build, test, deploy, and maintain integrations across enterprise systems, cloud applications, and external vendors using APIs, web services, and file-based exchange methods.
• Create and support Workday integration solutions using tools such as Workday Studio, Orchestrate, and web services to meet business and operational needs.
• Develop data interfaces using standard exchange formats and ensure strong error handling, monitoring, and system reliability throughout each workflow.
• Design automation solutions with technologies such as Power Automate, Azure services, Freshservice Orchestration, UiPath, and Quickbase to streamline business processes.
• Translate functional requirements into technical designs, interface specifications, field mappings, and implementation plans for integration delivery.
• Monitor interface activity, investigate failures or data inconsistencies, and apply corrective actions to improve stability and performance.
• Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, including discovery, design, coding, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Produce and maintain clear technical documentation such as runbooks, workflow diagrams, support guides, and interface design materials.
• Participate in peer reviews and architecture discussions to strengthen coding practices, solution quality, and long-term integration standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience developing and supporting enterprise application integrations.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience building Workday integrations.
• Strong background integrating cloud-based business systems within complex SaaS environments.
• Experience working with Agile, Scrum, or comparable software delivery methodologies.
• Familiarity with platforms such as Workday, Dynamics, and other HR or finance-related enterprise applications.
• Technical proficiency with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, APIs, SOAP web services, and low-code tools such as Quickbase or Microsoft Power Apps.
