About the Role
We are looking for an Implementation Engineer to lead the deployment and integration of enterprise technology solutions for customer environments in San Antonio, Texas. This role partners closely with client IT teams to prepare infrastructure, connect cloud-based services, and deliver secure, reliable implementations that align with business needs. The ideal candidate brings strong systems and networking knowledge, a methodical approach to documentation, and the ability to resolve technical issues with professionalism and urgency.
Responsibilities:
• Deploy and configure enterprise software across customer servers, workstations, and connected network devices.
• Coordinate with client IT teams to assess infrastructure readiness and prepare environments for successful solution delivery.
• Integrate platforms with identity and access management systems, including Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Google, Active Directory, and Okta.
• Connect cloud services to customer networks while ensuring dependable performance, security, and compatibility.
• Produce clear implementation records, configuration details, and support documentation for completed projects.
• Investigate technical issues in existing installations and provide timely troubleshooting and resolution.
• Use remote collaboration and support tools to assist customers, perform technical reviews, and complete implementation tasks.
• Follow company policies, operational procedures, and applicable compliance and safety standards in all work activities.
• Communicate openly with management regarding project status, risks, and other important matters affecting delivery.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, switches, and routers.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server, desktop operating systems, and Active Directory environments.
• Familiarity with cloud and identity platforms, including Microsoft Azure, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, and Okta.
• Experience using remote support applications and IT ticketing systems to manage technical work efficiently.
• Certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, or CompTIA credentials are preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent problem-solving, organization, communication, and multitasking skills, with the ability to work independently and handle confidential information responsibly.
