Software Developer
About the Role
We are looking for a Software Developer on a contract-to-permanent basis. This position will contribute to the creation of modern software solutions that support business operations through full-stack development, system integration, and AI-enabled capabilities. The role offers the opportunity to work across web applications, backend services, and data workflows while partnering with technical teams on architecture, delivery, and long-term platform improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications, APIs, and backend services utilizing C#, .NET, React, and TypeScript.
- Integrate data across legacy environments and third-party applications using technologies such as Azure Data Factory.
- Develop and enhance AI-powered capabilities leveraging tools including Claude Code, Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Agent Framework, and Copilot Studio. Projects may involve intelligent document processing, vector database preparation, grounding methodologies, and prompt engineering.
- Incorporate AI functionality into business workflows through Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Teams, and Office add-ins while supporting governance, agent design, and contextual data strategies.
- Implement monitoring, logging, telemetry, and exception management processes to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, technical design reviews, and peer code reviews.
- Manage source control, CI/CD processes, and team collaboration using Git, Azure DevOps, and related development tools.
- Support application modernization initiatives by contributing to scalable architecture, integration standards, and software development best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Professional experience developing applications within the Microsoft ecosystem, including C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, and related technologies.
- Strong front-end development experience using React and TypeScript.
- Experience with Git-based source control and build/release automation tools such as Azure Pipelines or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and experience integrating data across enterprise applications and legacy systems.
- Exposure to artificial intelligence, automation, or low-code technologies, including platforms such as Claude Code, Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Services, or similar solutions.
- Ability to collaborate in Agile environments, contributing to sprint planning, architectural design discussions, and code review processes.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities with a focus on creating scalable, maintainable, and dependable software solutions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
