About the Role
We are looking for an ERP/CRM Consultant to support and enhance an Epicor ERP environment for a machinery manufacturing organization in Plymouth, Minnesota. This Long-term Contract position focuses on improving system performance, aligning ERP capabilities with operational goals, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver practical, high-value solutions. The ideal candidate brings hands-on Epicor experience, strong business process knowledge, and the ability to translate technical functionality into effective support for manufacturing and business operations.
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate operational workflows and translate business needs into effective Epicor ERP solutions that improve accuracy, efficiency, and consistency across core functions.
• Configure, support, and refine Epicor modules based on organizational priorities, with work spanning areas such as production, inventory, supply chain, finance, order processing, customer support, and related functions.
• Create and maintain reporting and system tools, including queries, dashboards, business process automations, and data-driven enhancements that improve visibility and usability.
• Coordinate data movement and system connectivity between Epicor and other business applications to support reliable information flow across the organization.
• Deliver user guidance through training sessions, process documentation, and best-practice recommendations to strengthen adoption and day-to-day system use.
• Investigate functional and technical issues, identify root causes, and work with internal teams and external partners to implement timely resolutions.
• Contribute to ERP-related projects such as module deployments, upgrades, and enhancement initiatives while helping minimize disruption to business operations.
• Monitor product updates and emerging best practices to recommend improvements that increase system effectiveness and support continuous improvement efforts.
• At least 3 to 5 years of direct experience working with Epicor ERP, with Epicor Kinetic experience preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing business processes and accounting concepts within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Prior involvement in significant ERP implementation, upgrade, or enhancement projects with measurable contributions to project success.
• Experience gathering and documenting business needs, including the ability to develop clear business requirement materials.
• Working knowledge of configuration management practices and ERP system administration concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business systems, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education.• At least 3 to 5 years of direct experience working with Epicor ERP, with Epicor Kinetic experience preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing business processes and accounting concepts within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
