About the Role
We are looking for a Network Administrator to support and enhance a hybrid infrastructure environment for an organization in the entertainment industry based in Calabasas, California. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone with strong expertise across cloud platforms, enterprise networking, and core systems administration. The role focuses on maintaining reliable connectivity, securing critical infrastructure, and resolving advanced technical issues across both cloud and on-premises environments.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day administration of network infrastructure, ensuring stable performance across routers, firewalls, LAN environments, and related connectivity components.
• Manage cloud networking resources in platforms such as Azure and AWS, including virtual networks, VPN configurations, routing, load balancing, and firewall policies.
• Administer identity and access services using Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD Connect, and directory services to support secure authentication across hybrid systems.
• Provide advanced Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for infrastructure incidents, conducting root-cause analysis and implementing lasting solutions.
• Support Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and VMware environments as part of broader systems administration responsibilities.
• Maintain backup, monitoring, and disaster recovery processes to help protect business-critical systems and improve operational resilience.
• Strengthen infrastructure security through ongoing administration of access controls, firewall technologies, and general security best practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot issues and support hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure operations.
• Document network configurations, system changes, and support procedures to improve visibility and operational consistency.
• Proven expertise with Microsoft Azure administration and cloud networking concepts such as VNets, VPNs, routing, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Experience working with AWS networking constructs, including VPCs and hybrid connectivity models.
• Solid background in security administration, with the ability to support secure network and systems operations.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD, and Azure AD Connect in hybrid identity environments.
• Working knowledge of VMware administration along with systems support for Windows Server and Microsoft 365.
• Experience supporting backup solutions, monitoring platforms, and disaster recovery planning.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues independently while supporting Tier 2 and Tier 3 escalation needs.

Requirements
• Demonstrated experience administering enterprise network environments with strong hands-on knowledge of Cisco networking technologies, including routers and LAN infrastructure.• Proven expertise with Microsoft Azure administration and cloud networking concepts such as VNets, VPNs, routing, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Experience working with AWS networking constructs, including VPCs and hybrid connectivity models.
• Solid background in security administration, with the ability to support secure network and systems operations.
