About the Role
We are looking for a Jr. Salesforce Developer to join a fully remote team supporting enterprise Salesforce initiatives in Pennsylvania. This contract opportunity with permanent potential focuses on building and enhancing solutions across Life Sciences Cloud, Service Cloud, and connected integration environments while partnering closely with analysts, quality teams, and technical leadership. The person in this role will contribute hands-on development and platform configuration work, helping deliver scalable, compliant, and reliable business capabilities.
Responsibilities:
• Build and enhance Salesforce functionality through a mix of declarative configuration and custom development based on approved technical designs.
• Create, update, and support Apex components, Lightning Web Components, automation flows, and related platform logic to meet business needs.
• Configure and maintain data structures, workflows, and automated processes within Life Sciences Cloud and other Salesforce applications.
• Develop and support system integrations using MuleSoft or comparable middleware, including API-based and event-driven solutions.
• Strengthen integration performance and stability by implementing exception management, retry strategies, and duplicate-processing safeguards.
• Contribute to Agile delivery activities such as sprint planning, backlog review, and technical design discussions with cross-functional team members.
• Produce unit tests, assist with quality validation efforts, and troubleshoot issues through defect analysis and resolution.
• Support delivery practices required in regulated environments, including documentation, traceability, audit readiness, and controlled change processes.
• Follow source control, deployment, and CI/CD standards to promote reliable and repeatable releases.
• Work as an individual contributor while collaborating effectively with architects, business analysts, and QA stakeholders.
• Strong practical knowledge of Apex, Salesforce Lightning Platform development, Flow automation, and Salesforce data modeling.
• Experience working across multiple Salesforce products, with Service Cloud exposure strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to build, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
• Familiarity with DevOps and release management practices using Git and CI/CD tooling.
• Experience contributing within Agile teams using iterative development methods.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is required.
• Salesforce Administrator certification is preferred, or equivalent platform administration experience.

• At least 4 years of Salesforce development experience in hands-on technical roles.• Strong practical knowledge of Apex, Salesforce Lightning Platform development, Flow automation, and Salesforce data modeling.
• Experience working across multiple Salesforce products, with Service Cloud exposure strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to build, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
