About the Role
We are looking for an ERP/CRM Consultant to support complex Workday-focused integration initiatives for a long-term contract opportunity based in Chicago, Illinois. This role is ideal for a consultant who can translate business needs into scalable technical solutions across HR, benefits, payroll, and third-party platform connections. The position requires deep experience designing, building, and enhancing integrations in global Workday environments while partnering with stakeholders to deliver reliable, well-documented outcomes.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain custom Workday integrations that support HR, payroll, and benefits processes across multiple business functions.
• Build and enhance integration solutions using Workday Studio, Workday Extend, and document transformation tools to meet evolving operational needs.
• Create and manage RaaS-based reporting outputs that enable downstream systems and business teams to access accurate data efficiently.
• Connect Workday with external platforms such as payroll, background screening, and benefits providers, including solutions involving Deel and HireRight.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business objectives into technical specifications, and recommend effective integration approaches.
• Support global Workday operations by developing solutions that account for regional processes, data considerations, and cross-border business needs.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, perform testing, and refine configurations to improve reliability, accuracy, and performance.
• Produce clear technical documentation, including business requirement alignment, interface details, and support materials for ongoing maintenance.
• Hands-on expertise with Workday Studio, including development of custom integration solutions.
• Strong background in Workday Extend and building scalable functionality within the platform.
• Experience creating and supporting RaaS reports and document transformation processes.
• Familiarity with benefits integrations and connecting Workday to external service providers.
• Knowledge of global Workday implementations and the complexities of multinational workforce operations.
• Experience integrating with payroll and third-party systems such as Deel and HireRight.
• Technical understanding of APIs, business requirements documentation, configuration management, and related enterprise application development practices.
