Front End Developer

We are looking for a Front-End Developer to join a well-known consumer brand in San Francisco, California. This long-term remote contract position offers the opportunity to create engaging, customer-facing web experiences across a range of products while working closely with product and design partners. The ideal candidate brings strong React, JavaScript, and TypeScript expertise along with the ability to turn business goals into intuitive interfaces that serve end users effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Create and enhance responsive user interfaces using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for customer-facing applications.

• Deliver front-end solutions across multiple digital products while maintaining a cohesive and consistent user experience.

• Work closely with product partners to clarify priorities, assess requirements, and shape practical implementation plans.

• Convert business and product needs into clear, intuitive experiences that align with customer expectations.

• Contribute a user-centered perspective during planning and development discussions to help guide product direction.

• Collaborate with design teams to bring visual concepts and interaction patterns to life in the front end.

• Write, improve, and maintain high-quality code within modern JavaScript and React-based applications.

• Share technical input throughout the development lifecycle, including feasibility considerations, tradeoffs, and implementation details.

Requirements

• 7+ years of front-end development experience delivering high-quality, user-facing web applications.

• Strong hands-on experience with React.js in a detail-focused development environment.

• Solid proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Demonstrated ability to translate product or business requirements into effective front-end solutions.

• Experience partnering with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams throughout delivery cycles.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical considerations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to manage work across multiple products or priorities in a fast-moving environment.
