Nearshore Sector| DevOps (with artifactory jfrog)
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical DevOps professional to join our nearshore team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure solutions. You will lead the design, deployment, and operation of a new Multi-region Artifactory platform hosted in AWS, playing a critical role in migrating from on-premises to cloud.
Key Responsibilities
- Artifactory Management: Design, implement, and maintain the Artifactory cloud architecture on AWS, ensuring efficient artifact storage, versioning, and distribution.
- Cloud Migration: Lead the migration of existing repositories from on-prem to AWS, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Automation (IaC): Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Design and maintain robust pipelines using industry-standard tools and best practices to streamline deployment processes.
- Containerization: Implement and maintain orchestration solutions using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
- Observability: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce software supply chain policies and ensure security best practices are implemented throughout the CI/CD pipeline.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related roles.
- JFrog/Artifactory: Hands-on experience with Artifactory/JFrog or similar artifact management systems.
- CI/CD Tools: Strong proficiency in tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Cloud Platforms: Solid experience with AWS (compute, storage, networking).
- IaC & Containers: Proven expertise with Terraform and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Monitoring: Familiarity with tools like Prometheus, ELK Stack, and Grafana.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
