Accountabilities Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications using Java and Spring Boot 3, contributing to scalable and efficient solutions. Collaborate with development teams to deliver high-quality software that meets technical specifications and client expectations. Build, integrate, and consume RESTful APIs to support communication between applications and services. Apply object-oriented programming principles and software design best practices, including Design Patterns, SOLID, KISS, DRY, and YAGNI. Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure software reliability, functionality, and long-term maintainability. Work with relational and non-relational databases to support application functionality and data management. Use Git for version control and collaborate effectively on shared codebases. Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, code quality, and development workflows. Where relevant, support front-end development activities using JavaScript and TypeScript. Requirements Professional experience in Java development, including hands-on experience with Spring Boot 3. Knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript version 4 or later. Understanding of object-oriented programming, Design Patterns, and software engineering principles such as SOLID, KISS, DRY, and YAGNI. Familiarity with automated testing practices and tools. Experience using Git for version control and collaborative development. Knowledge of relational and/or non-relational databases. Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate technical issues and understand their business impact. Good communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to learn from peers and contribute to team objectives. Familiarity with front-end development is considered an advantage.
