Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) - Consultant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) - Consultant based in India. This is a remote consulting role focused on delivering data intelligence, reporting, and analytics solutions within the Oracle Fusion ecosystem. You will develop dashboards, reports, KPIs, and analytics capabilities that help business teams turn enterprise data into actionable insights. The role involves close collaboration with functional stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain Management, Human Capital Management, and other business areas. You will work hands-on with FDI, OTBI, BI Publisher, OAS, and Fusion Analytics Warehouse to build reliable and effective reporting solutions. A key part of the role is ensuring data accuracy, security, performance, and integrity across reporting and analytics environments. You will also troubleshoot complex reporting issues, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and stay current with Oracle Fusion reporting technologies and best practices. Accountabilities: Develop and configure reports, dashboards, KPIs, and analytics solutions using Fusion Data Intelligence within Oracle Fusion Applications. Collaborate with functional teams across Finance, SCM, HCM, and other business areas to understand reporting needs and translate requirements into effective technical solutions. Build and maintain reporting and analytics solutions using OTBI, BI Publisher, FDI subject areas, OAS, and Fusion Analytics Warehouse. Develop ad-hoc and scheduled reporting solutions that support business decision-making and operational requirements. Ensure the accuracy, integrity, security, and performance of reports, dashboards, and underlying data. Analyze reporting requirements and design solutions that provide relevant, accessible, and actionable business insights. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to FDI reporting, data quality, integrations, and data integrity. Perform data analysis and validation to identify discrepancies and ensure reliable reporting outcomes. Optimize queries and reporting solutions to improve performance and usability. Stay informed about Oracle Fusion reporting capabilities, FDI developments, emerging tools, and industry best practices. Collaborate with technical and functional stakeholders to support successful delivery of reporting and analytics initiatives. Requirements 6+ years of professional experience with Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) and enterprise reporting tools. Hands-on expertise with Oracle Analytics Server (OAS), OTBI, BI Publisher, and Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW). Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Applications data models, particularly across Finance, HCM, and SCM modules. Strong SQL skills, including data joins, query development, data analysis, and query optimization. Experience developing reports, dashboards, KPIs, and analytics solutions based on complex business requirements. Ability to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into effective reporting and dashboard solutions. Strong understanding of data accuracy, integrity, security, and reporting performance. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate reporting and data-related issues systematically. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and functional stakeholders.
