This is a fully remote, full-time opportunity with approximately 20% travel based on project and client requirements Accountabilities: Lead clinical quality analytics workstreams, overseeing the design, execution, validation, and quality review of qualitative and quantitative analyses. Collect, integrate, validate, and analyze healthcare claims and related datasets to evaluate cost, utilization, quality, and provider performance. Design data-driven analyses supporting value-based care, pay-for-performance, and other clinical quality initiatives. Develop reproducible data pipelines, analytical code, dashboards, reports, and visualizations using appropriate programming languages and technology platforms. Translate complex analytical findings into clear insights, actionable recommendations, and compelling presentations for client executives and internal leadership. Apply appropriate analytical methodologies and research healthcare quality measures, program specifications, and industry guidance when established approaches are not available. Manage day-to-day client relationships and tailor communication appropriately to different audiences based on their technical expertise and responsibilities. Audit source data, analytical methodologies, and deliverables to identify inconsistencies, quality issues, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Independently manage assigned priorities, identify practical next steps and workarounds, and consistently meet client deadlines and quality expectations. Mentor junior team members in analytical methods, healthcare data, clinical quality concepts, and quality-control practices. Contribute to high-quality consulting engagements by combining healthcare expertise, technical judgment, analytical rigor, and strong client communication. Requirements: You bring at least 5 years of experience in healthcare data and analytics, consulting, or a related healthcare industry role, with manager-level experience preferred. You hold a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or equivalent experience in analytics, computer science, economics, finance, accounting, statistics, econometrics, public health, engineering, or another relevant field. You have demonstrated experience analyzing healthcare claims data, including datasets such as MedPAR, Limited Data Set, VRDC, Merative, HCUP, all-payer claims, or Medicare-Medicaid claims. You have subject-matter expertise in value-based care, including cost and quality analysis, or clinical quality programs such as pay-for-performance. You are proficient in SQL, Snowflake, Python, and SAS. You are proficient with Git/GitHub, Snowflake, and Tableau. Experience with electronic medical record data, pharmacy data, provider data, or HealthVerity data is preferred. Experience with hospital quality measures and programs, such as AHRQ Quality Indicators, CMS 5-Star ratings, or U.S. News rankings, is preferred. Experience with PySpark or Truveta Prose is preferred, along with familiarity with Tuva, Databricks, or VRDC. You possess strong written and verbal communication skills and can present analytical findings clearly and confidently to client executives and internal leadership. You demonstrate strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities independently. You are comfortable working in a consulting environment where client needs, deadlines, and project priorities may evolve quickly. You are willing and able to travel approximately 20% based on project requirements and client expectations. You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship. Benefits: The position is full time and fully remote within the United States. The salary range is $120,000–$165,000, with final title and compensation determined based on qualifications and experience.
