As a Senior Professional Service Consultant, you will lead enterprise customer migrations from legacy Secure Email Gateways to modern cloud-based email security environments. You will combine expertise in enterprise mail flow, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure to deliver secure, efficient, and low-disruption migration projects. The role involves partnering directly with technical stakeholders and senior customer contacts to understand objectives, manage delivery plans, and resolve complex implementation challenges. You will provide hands-on guidance across email routing, authentication, security controls, and hybrid infrastructure. You will also collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams to improve deployment workflows and delivery practices. Accountabilities: Lead enterprise migration projects, ensuring smooth and secure transitions from legacy Secure Email Gateways to modern email security environments. Provide expert guidance on enterprise mail flow, including SMTP, MX records, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and routing across hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructures. Advise customers on native security controls within Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace and help ensure effective replacement of legacy gateway functionality. Provide guidance on email security policies, including anti-phishing protections, filtering, threat protection, data loss prevention, and relevant compliance requirements. Troubleshoot complex mail flow and routing issues to maintain secure and reliable email delivery throughout and after migrations. Apply established migration methodologies and contribute feedback that helps improve best practices for future customer deployments. Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams to support deployment workflows and resolve technical challenges. Execute project plans while maintaining control over timelines, scope, quality, and customer expectations. Identify migration risks and proactively address roadblocks, escalating complex issues to senior team members or leadership when appropriate. Provide clear and consistent project updates to keep customers and internal stakeholders aligned on progress, risks, and next steps. Requirements: You have a bachelor's degree and 5–7 years of experience in customer-facing roles involving enterprise cybersecurity SaaS deployments or migrations. You have a proven track record of delivering projects, balancing competing priorities, and coordinating across multiple teams to achieve customer and business objectives. You have hands-on experience with enterprise email flow integration and migration projects, including exposure to Secure Email Gateway decommissioning. You have strong knowledge of enterprise mail flow and architecture, including SMTP, MX records, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and email routing across cloud and on-premises environments. You understand email security, filtering, threat protection, and DLP, with familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR. You have experience using AI platforms such as Glean and Claude. You are proficient with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace security capabilities, including Defender for Office 365, Exchange Online Protection, ATP, and Google Workspace Security. You have experience managing email routing through firewalls, proxies, and mail relays, including IP whitelisting, inbound and outbound mail rules, and secure connectors. You have strong problem-solving abilities and can identify migration risks, overcome technical roadblocks, and drive issues through to resolution. You communicate effectively with technical stakeholders and senior customer contacts and can translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations. You are comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You bring a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset and take a proactive approach to customer and technical challenges. Benefits: The base salary range for this position is $124,700–$179,300 USD. The role may be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation. Equity participation may be available as part of the overall compensation package. A comprehensive benefits package is provided. Compensation is determined based on factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. The position is remote within the United States.
