This is a remote opportunity for an experienced developer specializing in Hyland OnBase, API integrations, and enterprise application development. Accountabilities: Design, develop, enhance, and support integrations between OnBase and internal or external enterprise applications. Build and maintain APIs and services supporting document upload, retrieval, indexing, workflow actions, metadata exchange, and other document management processes. Develop integration solutions using the OnBase Unity API, OnBase Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, and related integration technologies. Configure and customize OnBase document types, keywords, workflows, forms, lifecycle processes, user groups, and roles. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand document management, content management, and workflow requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. Integrate OnBase with ERP, CRM, core business platforms, and third-party enterprise applications. Troubleshoot application and integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide production support. Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data validation, reporting, and backend integration requirements. Participate in code reviews, unit testing, deployments, release activities, and ongoing application improvements. Ensure OnBase integrations and related solutions meet appropriate security, scalability, reliability, and performance standards. Create and maintain technical documentation, interface specifications, implementation materials, and support guides. Partner with DevOps and infrastructure teams to support deployments, environments, and application operations. Requirements: Bring 8+ years of professional experience in Hyland OnBase development and integration. Hold a Hyland OnBase certification and demonstrate strong hands-on expertise with OnBase API development. Have extensive experience with Unity API, OnBase Web Services, REST APIs, and SOAP integrations. Demonstrate practical experience configuring OnBase document types, keywords, workflows, user groups and roles, forms, and Unity Forms. Possess strong programming skills in C# and .NET, along with solid experience building and consuming APIs and web services. Have strong knowledge of SQL Server and/or Oracle, including the ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures. Understand document management systems, enterprise content management, and workflow solutions. Have hands-on experience with OnBase Workflow, WorkView, Unity Forms, and DIP/Document Import Processor. Demonstrate strong troubleshooting, debugging, production support, and root cause analysis capabilities. Be familiar with incident, problem, and change management practices within structured support environments. Have exposure to document imaging, scanning, OCR, and records management processes. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and collaborate across business, QA, infrastructure, DevOps, and support teams. Knowledge of OnBase administration and environment management is considered an advantage. Experience integrating OnBase with other enterprise systems is preferred. Familiarity with Windows Services, IIS, batch jobs, and middleware integration is beneficial. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage. Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines is beneficial. Basic knowledge of authentication and security protocols such as OAuth2, SSO, LDAP, and SAML is preferred. Experience with performance tuning and optimization of OnBase solutions is a plus. Experience in insurance, healthcare, banking, or financial services environments is advantageous. Familiarity with microservices architecture is considered a plus. Benefits: Remote position available across Canada.
