Accountabilities Design and build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, synchronize, and manage large datasets within Salesforce. Develop integration solutions connecting Salesforce with enterprise applications through modern APIs, middleware platforms, and integration frameworks. Perform advanced data analysis using SQL, Python, Pandas, NumPy, DBAmp, and related tools to identify data-quality issues, trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. Generate data-driven insights that support operational decision-making and broader business and strategic initiatives. Design, optimize, and maintain Salesforce standard and custom objects and scalable data models supporting reporting, analytics, and business intelligence. Implement automated data-quality controls, deduplication processes, cleansing frameworks, and other mechanisms to improve data accuracy and consistency. Enforce data governance, security, compliance, and data-retention standards across Salesforce environments. Monitor and optimize data integrations, APIs, Salesforce data operations, and processing workflows to improve scalability and performance. Work extensively with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, Data Loader, Bulk API 2.0, Platform Events, and Change Data Capture. Develop and optimize SOQL and SOSL queries and contribute to Apex-based data solutions. Design and support Salesforce REST and SOAP API integrations. Apply Salesforce data-modeling and security expertise, including Salesforce Shield, data encryption, role hierarchies, sharing rules, permission sets, and data-security best practices. Work with enterprise data platforms and databases including Snowflake, BigQuery, Oracle Database, and SQL Server. Support analytics and visualization initiatives using Power BI, Tableau, and Salesforce CRM Analytics. Follow Git-based development practices and contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitLab, and related DevOps tools. Apply Agile/Scrum, DataOps, and DevOps methodologies to deliver reliable and maintainable data solutions. Translate complex technical and data concepts into clear, business-friendly insights for stakeholders. Requirements 7–9+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Salesforce Data Architecture, Data Integration, CRM Data Management, or a closely related field. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline. Advanced expertise in Salesforce data engineering and architecture. Strong experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Data Cloud. Expert-level knowledge of SOQL and SOSL, with strong experience using Apex and Apex collections. Strong knowledge of Salesforce REST and SOAP APIs, Data Loader, Bulk API 2.0, Platform Events, and Change Data Capture. Deep understanding of the Salesforce data model, schema design, security architecture, and data-management best practices. Experience with Salesforce Shield, data encryption, role hierarchies, sharing rules, permission sets, and Salesforce data-security controls. Expert-level SQL skills and strong proficiency in Python for data analysis and transformation, particularly using Pandas and NumPy. Hands-on experience with data warehousing and integration technologies such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Oracle Database, and SQL Server. Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and large-scale data migration, integration, and transformation projects. Familiarity with BI and analytics platforms including Power BI, Tableau, and Salesforce CRM Analytics. Experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and DataOps methodologies. Proven track record of delivering large-scale Salesforce data migration, integration, and transformation initiatives. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to diagnose complex data and integration challenges. Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain sophisticated technical concepts and data structures to non-technical stakeholders.
