Epicor Techno-Functional Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Consultant with deep Epicor 9.x financial systems knowledge to support our client. This person will serve as a key link between business users and technical teams, helping resolve system issues, improve day-to-day application performance, and strengthen financial operations. The ideal candidate brings a strong functional background in Epicor Financials and can provide practical guidance on workflows, reporting, and system usage in a production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver day-to-day functional support for Epicor 9.x finance modules, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and fixed assets.

• Investigate and resolve issues affecting financial transactions, posting activity, reconciliations, and period-end processing within the ERP environment.

• Work closely with finance stakeholders and IT partners to diagnose application, configuration, data, and workflow-related problems and drive effective resolutions.

• Respond to reporting needs, ad hoc data requests, and user questions tied to system functionality and financial information.

• Recommend and support configuration updates and process enhancements that improve usability, accuracy, and operational efficiency.

• Create and maintain clear documentation for procedures, issue resolution steps, and recurring support topics to promote knowledge sharing.

• Act as the functional point of contact for Epicor finance workflows and provide guidance to users on best practices.

• Support system interfaces, data extraction activities, and related financial or banking integrations as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience supporting Epicor 9.x in a live production setting.

• Strong functional expertise across Epicor Financials, especially general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

• Proven ability to troubleshoot Epicor application issues, financial processing errors, and workflow disruptions.

• Experience translating business needs into practical functional recommendations and system solutions.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with end users, finance teams, and technical resources.
