As a Salesforce Administrator, you will help build, maintain, and optimize a high-performing CRM environment that supports employees and customers. You will manage Salesforce configurations, data integrity, permissions, workflows, reports, dashboards, and system functionality. The role combines technical administration with business partnership, requiring you to translate stakeholder needs into practical CRM solutions. Accountabilities Perform day-to-day Salesforce administration, including managing Flows and Approvals, Permission Sets, Profiles, Page Layouts, Roles, Groups, and Queues. Build and deliver customized reports and dashboards using standard and custom objects, multiple-object configurations, and custom report types. Apply strong data-filtering logic and knowledge of Salesforce field types to ensure accurate reporting and reliable system functionality. Maintain CRM data integrity by implementing validation rules, managing duplicate records, and conducting regular data audits. Review, configure, and deploy Salesforce AppExchange applications and managed packages while maintaining appropriate system and user permissions. Provide timely and professional support to internal CRM users, including troubleshooting, resolving ad-hoc issues, and assisting with data imports and exports. Develop user documentation and deliver training sessions covering CRM best practices, system functionality, and new features. Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand business processes, gather requirements, and implement effective Salesforce solutions. Proactively troubleshoot configuration-related issues and identify opportunities to improve system performance and usability. Establish individual and platform goals with the CRM Administration Team and develop strategies aligned with broader product and service roadmaps. Stay informed about Salesforce, CRM, and cloud-computing trends to support continuous platform improvement. Leverage Salesforce Lightning experience to support user-interface configuration, customization, and Lightning components where applicable. Maintain ongoing Salesforce knowledge through Trailhead learning and continued professional development. Requirements 1–3 years of experience in systems administration or a closely related technical role. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline preferred; an Associate’s degree or high school diploma/GED combined with significant practical experience may also be considered. Salesforce Administrator certification or equivalent hands-on experience preferred. Strong understanding of Salesforce administration, configuration, data management, permissions, and reporting. Experience with Salesforce Lightning and declarative development methods preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues and develop practical solutions. Knowledge of database design principles, database management best practices, and data stewardship. Understanding of IT security best practices and user access management. Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies. Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar business intelligence tools is preferred. Experience in data analysis or data stewardship is a plus. APEX or Visualforce development experience is not required but would be considered an advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for user support, stakeholder collaboration, and training. Positive attitude, commitment to servant leadership, and a collaborative approach. Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different departments and translate business requirements into CRM solutions. Experience in the financial services industry is a plus but not required. Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with Salesforce products and configurations. Benefits Annual salary of $80,000–$85,000 , plus an annual bonus. Compensation may vary based on location, skills, licensure, experience, education, and other job-related factors.
