This is a technical leadership role responsible for building and evolving end-to-end data platforms that power business intelligence and analytics. You will own the full data lifecycle, from ingestion and transformation through curated datasets and Power BI semantic models. Accountabilities: Own the complete data lifecycle for the assigned data domain, covering ingestion, Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers as well as the Power BI semantic layer. Design, build, optimize, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and certified Gold datasets that support business intelligence and analytics. Develop, govern, and optimize high-performance Power BI semantic models and dashboards, including advanced data modeling and DAX development. Design and implement robust Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and integration layers aligned with broader data architecture standards. Establish automated data quality checks, validation rules, monitoring mechanisms, and governance practices to ensure accurate and reliable data. Develop integrations between ERP and CRM systems, third-party applications, and analytics platforms. Collaborate with data architecture stakeholders to ensure integrations and platform components follow established technical standards. Monitor and optimize query performance, pipeline execution times, cloud storage, and compute consumption. Identify opportunities to improve platform scalability, reliability, efficiency, and cost management. Provide technical leadership to peer engineers, helping coordinate engineering activities and ensuring delivery against established pipeline SLAs. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation covering data architecture, pipelines, integrations, processes, and operational standards. Contribute to the continuous evolution of the data platform and promote reusable, scalable engineering practices. Support the adoption of modern data engineering approaches, automation, and cloud-native technologies. Requirements: Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and OneLake, or equivalent experience with Azure-based data platforms. Proven experience designing and implementing end-to-end Bronze/Silver/Gold medallion data architectures. Advanced expertise in Azure Data Factory, including pipeline design and data contract definition. Deep experience with Power BI semantic modeling and advanced DAX development. Practical experience integrating ERP and CRM source systems into unified enterprise data platforms. Strong technical leadership capabilities, including the ability to guide engineering work, establish standards, and manage delivery against pipeline SLAs. Solid understanding of data architecture, ETL/ELT processes, data integration, data quality, and governance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose technical challenges and make sound architecture and engineering decisions. Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with engineers, architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Professional English proficiency at B2 level or higher. Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed environment while maintaining ownership and accountability. Nice to have: Experience with Infor SyteLine or Infor ION integrations. Nice to have: Experience working with regulated or medical-device data within an ISO 13485 environment. Nice to have: Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Bicep or Terraform.
