Accountabilities Partner with technical leadership and engineering teammates to prioritize initiatives and execute against the product roadmap. Design, develop, test, deploy, and own complex software features and components across the full stack. Build robust, scalable, maintainable, and well-tested applications that support the growth of the platform. Shape and evolve system architecture, making sound technical decisions for scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability. Establish and promote engineering best practices, development standards, and effective technical processes. Help build a high-performing and collaborative engineering culture through technical leadership, mentorship, and knowledge sharing. Collaborate closely with Design and Operations teams to identify opportunities for continuous product and engineering improvements. Work with executives and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business strategy and requirements into practical technical solutions and deliverables. Take ownership of technical challenges and drive initiatives from initial design through production operation. Requirements 8+ years of professional software development experience , including at least 3 years contributing to system design or software architecture. Strong full-stack engineering expertise with TypeScript and JavaScript , including frontend development with React and backend development with Node.js . Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery , including designing, deploying, and operating scalable cloud services. Strong experience modeling, querying, and optimizing MongoDB schemas for performance and scalability. Demonstrated discipline around unit, integration, and end-to-end testing. Proven staff-level technical leadership, including architecture ownership, mentoring engineers, and improving overall engineering effectiveness. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with executives, engineers, and cross-functional teams. Ability to define technical strategy, clarify requirements, and translate business objectives into high-quality engineering outcomes. Genuine interest in pursuing a senior individual-contributor career path rather than transitioning into an executive or people-management role in the near term. Demonstrated history of stable and sustained tenure with previous employers. Strong problem-solving skills, technical judgment, ownership, and ability to operate effectively in an evolving environment. Benefits Annual salary range of $185,000–$240,000 USD .
