Accountabilities: Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including application development, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvement. Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React, Redux, HTML, and CSS. Design and build REST API backends that are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with engineering best practices. Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and other database components. Work with relational databases to ensure reliable data access and efficient application performance. Optimize application code and systems for production deployments, focusing on performance, scalability, and maintainability. Use Git and established development workflows to manage source code and collaborate effectively. Take ownership of implementing core software components that can be leveraged by other members of the engineering team. Ensure code structure and implementation remain aligned with software development best practices and technical standards. Make sound technical decisions, take accountability for outcomes, and proactively resolve development challenges. Contribute to testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements across engineering practices. Requirements: 6–8 years of professional experience in full-stack software development. 5+ years of hands-on experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, Node.js, React, Redux, HTML, CSS, and relational databases. Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, software design, and engineering principles. Proven experience writing SQL queries, procedures, functions, and other database operations. Experience designing and developing REST API backends. Professional experience using Git and modern source-control practices. Demonstrated ability to optimize code for production environments. Strong understanding of clean code, maintainability, and software development best practices. Ability to take ownership of core technical components and deliver solutions that can be used across the team. Strong decision-making skills and willingness to take accountability for technical decisions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with limited supervision. Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities. Experience with AWS, Java, .NET, Redis, Docker, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL is a plus. Benefits: Fully remote position based in India.
