Accountabilities: Own and maintain the Salesforce product roadmap, prioritizing enterprise features, enhancements, products, and tools according to business value and strategic objectives. Serve as the voice of the customer and primary liaison between business users, IT teams, Salesforce developers, and other technical stakeholders. Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, data analysis, and direct engagement with users. Translate complex business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, technical specifications, and actionable development priorities. Collaborate with Salesforce administrators, developers, testers, solution architects, and infrastructure teams throughout the product development lifecycle. Lead enterprise backlog grooming, sprint planning, and user acceptance testing while ensuring appropriate resource utilization, timely issue resolution, and adherence to program requirements. Provide schedule inputs, identify risks and dependencies, and deliver timely status updates to program and project leadership. Manage complex helpdesk cases and product-related issues, coordinating resolution across relevant technical and business teams. Support product demonstrations, technical briefings, stakeholder presentations, and leadership engagements. Synthesize user needs, policy constraints, technical considerations, and program deadlines to guide product decisions and priorities. Ensure technical processes and documentation remain accurate, clear, efficient, and up to date, including standard operating procedures, workflows, process and email templates, architectural updates, system design documentation, security testing materials, and technical review documentation. Facilitate development team meetings, technical deep dives, architecture discussions, and other cross-functional sessions. Document meeting outcomes, action items, decisions, blockers, and follow-up activities to ensure accountability and timely resolution. Drive user adoption and continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize processes, platform capabilities, and ways of working. Lead and influence cross-functional teams while maintaining a strategic view of product goals, customer needs, and enterprise priorities. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role, including experience supporting APIs, system integrations, and/or data exchange; equivalent advanced-degree pathways may also be considered. Strong hands-on knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies, including practical experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Experience leading large teams and coordinating work and action items across 7 or more projects simultaneously , with the ability to reprioritize rapidly as business needs change. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executives, technical teams, business stakeholders, and non-technical audiences. Ability to independently facilitate and lead development meetings, technical deep dives, architecture discussions, and ad hoc technical sessions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather information, evaluate alternatives, and resolve complex issues with limited oversight. Experience supporting the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) or a comparable federal agency, preferably within the Department of Health and Human Services environment. General understanding of CMS Section 508 accessibility and compliance requirements. Demonstrated consultant mindset, including strategic thinking, constructive challenge, stakeholder empathy, influence, and the ability to translate between business and technical perspectives. Hands-on technical experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Experience Cloud, and/or Lightning Components is highly desirable. Active Salesforce certification(s) are a plus. Experience with Snowflake, AWS, and OWN is advantageous. Experience developing automated testing scripts is a plus. Familiarity with software DevSecOps/DevOps pipelines, processes, and tools is desirable. Candidate must have resided in the United States for 3 of the last 5 years . Ability and willingness to obtain the required CMS Public Trust clearance . Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Benefits: Annual salary range of approximately $112,840–$149,500 , depending on experience, geographic location, and applicable contractual requirements.
