Accountabilities Design, develop, and optimize enterprise data warehouse solutions using dimensional modeling, schema design, slowly changing dimensions, fact table optimization, and established data warehouse methodologies. Develop and maintain Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to integrate healthcare and financial data from multiple sources while maintaining data integrity and compliance. Create advanced analytical dashboards and visualizations using Microsoft Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot, and paginated reporting capabilities to deliver actionable insights. Translate healthcare stakeholder requirements into detailed technical specifications and acceptance criteria, collaborating with clinical, financial, operational, and technical teams. Manage multiple concurrent healthcare analytics projects and technical initiatives while maintaining strong standards for code quality, documentation, and delivery. Participate in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to align development activities with organizational priorities. Conduct code reviews and collaborate with development teams through version control systems and established repository check-in processes. Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize existing data warehouse and business intelligence solutions, with a focus on data quality, security, HIPAA compliance, reliability, and performance. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on data warehousing, healthcare analytics methodologies, development practices, and relevant tools. Stay current with emerging data warehouse, business intelligence, and healthcare analytics technologies and identify opportunities to improve existing solutions and practices. Complete assigned performance objectives, special projects, and other responsibilities associated with the role. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. At least 5 years of professional experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, development, optimization, and troubleshooting. At least 5 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing ETL solutions using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Advanced knowledge of data warehouse methodologies, including schema design, dimensional modeling, data integration patterns, and warehouse optimization within healthcare analytics environments. Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI, Power Query, and Power Pivot, including the ability to develop sophisticated dashboards and analytical solutions. Strong experience with healthcare data analysis and a solid understanding of healthcare business models, clinical workflows, and payer/provider operations. Experience translating complex healthcare business requirements into technical solutions while effectively managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines. Professional experience working with SAFe Agile methodologies and development practices. Proficiency with version control systems and established code repository and check-in processes. Demonstrated experience with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server, with expertise in at least one of these database technologies. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical and healthcare analytics concepts to clinical, operational, and non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of healthcare data standards, data handling requirements, and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations. Experience in healthcare analytics, healthcare Information Technology (IT), or healthcare-focused business intelligence environments is highly desirable. Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) data services such as AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, or Amazon S3 is a plus. Advanced Power BI dashboard development experience, including complex calculations and interactive healthcare analytics capabilities, is desirable. Experience developing paginated reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or Power BI Paginated Reports is beneficial. Knowledge of data quality frameworks and data governance practices in healthcare environments is advantageous. Familiarity with healthcare concepts such as risk adjustment, quality measures, payment accuracy, and clinical and financial data integration is a plus. Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), or comparable modern development platforms is desirable. Familiarity with Python, R, or other scripting languages for healthcare data manipulation and analysis is beneficial. Experience mentoring junior developers and contributing to team knowledge-sharing initiatives is a plus. Benefits Base compensation ranging from $114,000 to $150,000 per year , with individual offers determined by experience, education, skills, certifications, and business needs.
