This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Consultant, Data & AI (Microsoft Fabric) based in Brazil. This is a senior individual-contributor opportunity for a data and AI professional working at an architect-adjacent level. You will independently lead client engagements from discovery and assessment through implementation, migration, and production deployment. The role focuses on designing scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions across the Microsoft data ecosystem, with Microsoft Fabric at its core. You will facilitate workshops, translate complex business needs into practical technical architectures, and guide clients through ambiguous challenges. The environment combines hands-on engineering with consulting, requiring strong technical judgment and confident client communication. You will work with technologies such as Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Apache Spark, lakehouse architectures, and modern data pipelines. As a senior technical contributor, you will have significant autonomy while helping raise delivery standards through high-quality execution and expertise. Accountabilities Independently lead and deliver client engagements across workshops, assessments, blueprinting, platform implementations, proof-of-value initiatives, migrations, and production deployments. Facilitate discovery and data workshops to establish business objectives, gather requirements, align stakeholders, and define practical delivery approaches. Assess existing data environments, develop target architectures and roadmaps, and identify risks, tradeoffs, optimization opportunities, and areas for improvement. Design and implement scalable, secure, resilient, and performant data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and the broader Azure ecosystem. Build and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Fabric-native tooling, including orchestration, transformation, and integration workflows. Develop and tune Apache Spark workloads for batch and streaming use cases, applying modern lakehouse and medallion architecture patterns. Own technical architecture decisions and ensure solutions align with Azure Well-Architected principles and data platform best practices. Translate business requirements and ambiguous client challenges into structured technical recommendations and implementable solutions. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, building trust and guiding clients toward informed decisions. Deliver projects with a high degree of autonomy after onboarding, maintaining strong quality, accountability, professionalism, and adherence to established delivery methodologies. Requirements Deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric and its end-to-end data platform capabilities. Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and modern Azure data services. Advanced proficiency with Apache Spark, preferably using PySpark and/or Scala. Proven experience designing modern data architectures, including lakehouse, medallion, ELT, and ETL patterns. Strong understanding of the broader Azure data ecosystem and how its services integrate within enterprise environments. Demonstrated experience independently delivering consulting engagements, including workshops, assessments, architecture sessions, and technical implementations. Strong client-facing communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and provide structured recommendations in ambiguous situations. High ownership mentality, strong accountability, and the ability to operate with minimal oversight. A proactive, driven, continuously improving mindset, combined with humility, collaboration, openness to feedback, and strong client awareness. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the confidence to identify tradeoffs and make sound technical recommendations. Preferred experience with Databricks, Power BI, Azure Synapse Analytics, or hybrid/legacy data environments. Certifications such as DP-203: Azure Data Engineer Associate , Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are strongly preferred.
