This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior AWS Site Reliability Engineer based in United States. This is a senior cloud engineering and site reliability role focused on building and sustaining secure, resilient, and scalable digital services. You will support AWS cloud platform engineering, Kubernetes operations, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, observability, and production reliability. The role combines hands-on technical delivery with platform architecture, operational readiness, incident response, and continuous improvement. Accountabilities: Design, configure, develop, integrate, test, document, and sustain AWS cloud capabilities using technologies such as AWS, EKS, ECS, Terraform, Packer, Vault, Consul, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, container platforms, and security automation. Implement and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code practices, container platform operations, monitoring, alerting, and secure deployment automation to increase delivery efficiency and platform reliability. Translate business, mission, security, accessibility, and operational requirements into practical, secure, and maintainable technical solutions. Support platform architecture, backlog refinement, implementation planning, release readiness, and production transition activities across the CRM, integration, and platform services environment. Develop reusable engineering patterns, configuration standards, automation, documentation, and operational procedures that reduce delivery risk, technical debt, and long-term sustainment challenges. Troubleshoot complex technical issues spanning platform configuration, application code, data, APIs, identity and access management, security, performance, and user experience. Collaborate with cybersecurity, privacy, data, infrastructure, QA, change management, and other stakeholders to ensure solutions align with federal operating, security, and accessibility expectations. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation covering system designs, configuration decisions, implementation details, testing evidence, operational procedures, risks, and support runbooks. Requirements: Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline, or possess equivalent professional experience. Bring 7+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, production operations, and cloud platform engineering, preferably within complex enterprise or government environments. Have hands-on experience implementing, configuring, developing, integrating, testing, or operating AWS-based solutions. Demonstrate experience working within Agile delivery teams and translating stakeholder requirements into reliable, maintainable technical outcomes. Possess strong hands-on knowledge of AWS capabilities, implementation patterns, administration, development, integration, and cloud lifecycle management. Be able to design and implement secure, supportable, and upgrade-aware solutions that minimize unnecessary customization and reduce technical debt. Have experience working with APIs, identity and access controls, data management, testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and release coordination. Demonstrate strong technical documentation skills, with the ability to communicate designs, configuration decisions, operational procedures, test results, and risks clearly to both technical and business audiences. Communicate effectively across government stakeholders, product owners, engineers, QA, cybersecurity, and operations teams, with the ability to collaborate in complex cross-functional environments. Be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure as code, platform release automation, and federal security frameworks such as NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP is preferred. Familiarity with Section 508, auditability, data protection, least-privilege principles, platform governance, observability, and operational readiness is advantageous. Experience with Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, Atlassian, Snowflake, data catalogs, CRM platforms, or enterprise integration ecosystems is a plus. AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, AWS Security Specialty, Kubernetes, Terraform, or comparable cloud certifications are preferred.
