Accountabilities: The role is responsible for validating software quality throughout the development lifecycle, identifying potential issues early, and helping teams deliver reliable and well-tested solutions. Plan, execute, and document software tests. Analyze system requirements to identify quality risks and define appropriate testing approaches. Perform both manual and automated testing as needed. Develop a clear mental model of how applications work internally and use it to test system limits and potential failure scenarios. Understand common programming languages and use basic technical knowledge to investigate software behavior. Identify, track, document, and report bugs and other quality issues. Collaborate with developers and relevant stakeholders to investigate and resolve defects. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to testing practices and product quality. Provide instructions and presentations on product functionality to stakeholders. Requirements The ideal candidate combines strong software testing fundamentals with analytical thinking, technical curiosity, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Previous experience in software quality assurance and testing. Experience planning, executing, and documenting software tests. Practical experience with manual and automated testing. Basic knowledge of commonly used programming languages. Ability to understand application architecture and build a mental model of software behavior. Ability to identify potential problems and test the limits of expected system behavior. Experience identifying, tracking, and reporting software defects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and collaboration skills when working with developers and stakeholders. Ability to explain software functionality clearly through instructions and presentations.
