About the Role

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior AI Product Builder, Inventory Experience based in United States. This role is part of a new AI-native product discipline designed to bring product discovery, specification, prototyping, and software delivery closer together. You will own the complete product build loop, from identifying customer needs through shipping production-ready changes and measuring outcomes. Your focus will be Product and Inventory Experience, including product catalogs, inventory records, receiving workflows, and the data foundations that support downstream supply chain operations. You will work hands-on with AI development tools to understand existing architecture, generate working code, and reduce engineering rework. The role combines strong product judgment with meaningful technical execution and direct customer engagement. You will operate within a high-performance, collaborative environment where speed, accountability, experimentation, and measurable outcomes are highly valued. This is an opportunity to shape how AI-native product development works while delivering high-impact capabilities for merchants and partners. You will operate within a high-performance, collaborative environment where speed, accountability, experimentation, and measurable outcomes are highly valued. This is an opportunity to shape how AI-native product development works while delivering high-impact capabilities for merchants and partners. Accountabilities: Own the full product lifecycle from AI-augmented discovery and detailed specifications through prototyping, production pull requests, and post-launch outcome measurement. Own product catalog and inventory data surfaces, including SKUs, variants, bundles, lots, channel synchronization, receiving workflows, and related data contracts. Conduct customer discovery independently and use AI tools to synthesize insights from customer tickets, interviews, behavioral data, competitive signals, and market trends. Develop deep functional and technical expertise across the products you own and confidently demonstrate capabilities, differentiators, and workflows to merchants and partners. Analyze product metrics and usage patterns with AI-assisted tools, identify anomalies, define success metrics, and establish explicit kill thresholds before development begins. Maintain a prioritized roadmap based on impact and delivery speed while incorporating customer insight, competitive intelligence, and market trends into strategic decisions. Evaluate proposed solutions against existing architecture, service boundaries, data structures, APIs, and merchant and partner data contracts without relying on engineering translation. Write precise story specifications covering business rules, state transitions, data contracts, edge cases, and other details required for AI tools to generate useful implementations. Prototype solutions before raising production pull requests and review AI-generated code for architectural correctness, quality, and alignment with requirements. Set experiment hypotheses and make rollout-or-kill decisions using defined metrics and AI-surfaced data. Participate in architecture reviews as the product decision-maker, contributing judgment on whether solutions should be built, purchased, deferred, or otherwise approached. During the first 90 days, map the product domain and codebase, identify key priorities, deliver an initial prototype and production pull request, and make a measurable rollout-or-kill decision on a real product initiative. Requirements: You have 5+ years of experience in product management, product engineering, or an equivalent discipline, including demonstrated professional use of AI development tools. You can write highly actionable product specifications that AI tools can execute directly, including state machines, business rules, data contracts, edge cases, and precise acceptance criteria. You have strong technical fluency and can read data models, evaluate API contracts, understand service boundaries, and identify when AI-generated code diverges from the intended architecture. You have a track record of shipping functional prototypes or production code rather than relying solely on mockups, presentations, or documentation. You demonstrate strong outcome ownership by defining success metrics and kill thresholds before development and tracking performance after launch. You have experience in supply chain, fulfillment, logistics, transportation, or e-commerce technology environments. You are comfortable working in a fast-moving, experimentation-driven culture where learning quickly and acting decisively are valued. You communicate exceptionally well in writing and are comfortable producing precise specifications rather than meeting notes or high-level narrative documents. Hands-on experience with AI development tools such as Claude Code, Driver.ai, Cursor, Replit, V0, or Figma AI is a strong advantage. Working knowledge of TypeScript, React, or Python is beneficial, particularly for debugging AI-generated code and understanding engineering implementation decisions. Experience with product information management, catalog or inventory platforms, multichannel commerce integrations, or warehouse receiving workflows at scale is preferred. Experience transitioning product teams from traditional software development processes to AI-native operating models is a plus. Benefits: The full base salary range for the role is $151,080–$251,800. The position includes eligibility for participation in a discretionary bonus plan based on applicable company policies and performance plans. Medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance are provided. Paid maternity and parental leave is available. Paid holidays and a flexible time off program are offered. Paid sick leave is provided. Employees receive one wellness day per quarter. A 401(k) matching program is available. The position is remote and available to candidates residing in AL, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, KS, KY, IA, ID, IL, IN, LA, MA, ME, MI, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, or WI. The role offers an environment centered on ownership, continuous learning, innovation, collaboration, and measurable professional impact.
