This is a remote opportunity for an experienced technology professional specializing in Epic applications, healthcare data, and enterprise integration. Accountabilities Design, develop, and implement integration solutions that extract, transform, and deliver Epic data to enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake, data warehouses, data lakes, and cloud analytics environments. Analyze Epic data structures, interfaces, APIs, interoperability capabilities, and extraction methodologies to develop scalable and reusable data-access frameworks. Partner with architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical approaches, and design solutions that improve data availability and accessibility. Develop and maintain custom connectors, APIs, plugins, and automation workflows that streamline Epic data extraction and integration. Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing integrations to improve performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability. Provide technical consulting and leadership on Epic data integration practices, architecture decisions, interoperability strategies, and enterprise solution design. Translate complex healthcare data and technical requirements into secure, practical, and scalable integration solutions. Support enterprise analytics, reporting, and data-driven initiatives by enabling reliable access to healthcare information. Collaborate across software engineering, data, architecture, and business teams to ensure solutions align with broader technology and organizational objectives. Requirements 10+ years of experience in software engineering, integration development, solution consulting, or a closely related technical field. At least 2–3 years of recent, hands-on experience working directly with Epic applications and healthcare data ecosystems. Deep knowledge of Epic systems, including data structures, integration frameworks, APIs, interoperability standards, and data extraction approaches. Proven experience designing and implementing custom integrations, connectors, APIs, or data-access solutions supporting enterprise reporting, analytics, or data-platform initiatives. Experience integrating healthcare data with modern cloud-based platforms such as Snowflake, data warehouses, data lakes, or broader analytics ecosystems. Strong software development and solution architecture capabilities, with an ability to design secure, scalable, and maintainable enterprise solutions. Strong understanding of healthcare data integration and the challenges associated with making complex clinical and operational data accessible for analytics. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot integration challenges and identify scalable solutions. Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams. Ability to provide technical leadership, influence architecture decisions, and work independently in a remote environment. Benefits Fully remote position within the United States.
