Accountabilities Participate in planning and refinement meetings, clarifying requirements and defining appropriate test scenarios. Plan, document, and execute test scenarios according to established test plans and record results in demand-management tools. Perform maintenance, regression, functional, exploratory, and bug-validation testing to ensure corrections work as expected without introducing new issues. Collaborate with developers to investigate, report, prioritize, and resolve software defects. Identify opportunities for automating repetitive and regression tests and contribute to the development of automated test scripts. Prepare and present test reports, communicating findings and relevant quality insights to stakeholders. Monitor and analyze testing and quality metrics through monitoring tools and dashboards, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement. Conduct internal training sessions and share testing knowledge and best practices with relevant stakeholders. Research and adopt new testing tools, technologies, and processes that can improve quality practices and efficiency. Support the development of junior test analysts through training, mentoring, and guidance when required. Requirements Higher education degree or technical qualification in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Networks, Systems Analysis and Development, or a related field. Approximately 2 years of professional experience in a testing or software quality role. Knowledge of exploratory, functional, and non-functional testing approaches. Understanding of requirements analysis techniques and the ability to translate requirements into effective test scenarios. Knowledge of API testing and familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MSSQL, and Git. Experience or knowledge of testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Cucumber. Knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban. Understanding of BDD test development techniques. Knowledge of performance testing, including tools such as JMeter. Familiarity with black-box and white-box testing techniques. Basic English proficiency.
