With your expertise in Kubernetes and Cloud-Native technologies, you will provide technical and architectural leadership to design, build, and scale our Next Generation Control Plane. You will lead the transformation toward a highly available, resilient, and distributed microservices architecture designed to support massive-scale operations seamlessly.

As a Principal Software Engineer Lead, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the development of the cloud native control plane built on Kubernetes and other cloud-native technologies
• Contributing to and helping shape the engineering roadmap by working with management and business stakeholders
• Contributing to enterprise features expected from a cloud native platform
• Developing best practices, knowledge sharing, and mentoring
• Lead and collaborate with engineering teams in an Agile environment
• Foster an environment that encourages innovative solutions, rapid development cycles, and open communication

Do what you love

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have 10+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Thought leadership in Cloud Native Platform Engineering, driving toward an enabled ecosystem of capabilities within our organization
• Have experience building and operating highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable production services using Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies
• Be an expert in containers as well as the technologies that revolve around them.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of the Go programming language and be comfortable leveraging Python or Bash for scripting needs
• Express expertise in networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, HTTP) and knowledge of Linux-based operating systems
• Have expertise leveraging CI/CD tools to achieve good software development practices
