Accountabilities Design, develop, test, and implement application solutions based on functional requirements and technical specifications. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, contributing to development activities across complex projects. Analyze application defects and technical issues, determine root causes, implement appropriate fixes, and validate solutions. Collaborate with other developers and technical team members to deliver application enhancements and project requirements. Create, update, and maintain technical documentation covering application components, development activities, and system changes. Apply established development practices, security requirements, and technical standards throughout application development. Support reliable and maintainable application solutions within a healthcare administration environment. Protect sensitive information and comply with applicable security, privacy, and healthcare data protection requirements. Follow organizational policies and applicable regulations, including HIPAA, HITECH, and relevant federal and state requirements. Perform other development-related duties and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline. Knowledge of J2EE development and Java-based application development. Knowledge of HTML, XML, Servlets, and JDBC . Familiarity with relational databases and SQL programming. Experience or familiarity with Java integrated development environments such as Eclipse or RAD. Knowledge of Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) development is preferred. Familiarity with Angular 2+ development is preferred. Knowledge of web design and CSS is preferred. Familiarity with Unix environments is preferred. Ability to analyze technical problems, troubleshoot application defects, and develop effective solutions. Strong attention to detail and ability to document technical work clearly. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team on complex projects. Self-motivated and performance-oriented approach with a willingness to learn and develop new technical skills. Strong understanding of software development principles and lifecycle practices. Ability to work remotely from within the United States and maintain a suitable home-office environment. Must be authorized to work in the United States; employment sponsorship is not provided.
