Accountabilities: Own reporting frameworks, standards, metrics, dashboards, and recurring analytics across multiple client programs while meeting client requirements, SLAs, and reporting timelines. Lead client compliance reporting, performance reporting, ad hoc analyses, and data crosswalks involving claims, eligibility, member, and transaction data such as 271, 835, and NCPDP. Write, optimize, test, document, and maintain production-grade SQL against large-scale healthcare claims datasets. Partner with Data Engineering to monitor pipeline reliability, identify data-quality issues, and address upstream changes that affect downstream reporting. Support client file generation, system reconciliation, inventory tracking, ETL monitoring, and reporting workflows to ensure data is received and processed according to business requirements. Investigate reporting discrepancies, identify root causes, and distinguish genuine data or process issues from isolated anomalies or timing-related differences. Proactively identify trends and anomalies and transform recurring findings into repeatable validation checks and monitoring processes. Build crosswalks, joins, reconciliation logic, and validation frameworks to support ongoing reporting requirements across disparate and loosely documented data sources. Coordinate with internal counterparts to resolve upstream issues such as rejected files, reprocessing events, eligibility gaps, and other data-quality challenges. Serve as a reporting-side liaison between clients, analysts, data teams, and other stakeholders, communicating findings and resolving reporting questions. Manage and develop a team of reporting analysts by setting priorities, reviewing technical work, providing direct feedback, coaching team members, and removing day-to-day blockers. Own the reporting and data analytics roadmap, determining what should be built, prioritized, improved, and delivered based on business needs. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Healthcare Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, healthcare claims data analysis, analytics engineering, or a related analytics discipline, including experience serving as a senior analytics contributor on a team or initiative. Experience leading, mentoring, or managing analysts or other technical professionals, including providing feedback on technical work and managing workload, priorities, and performance. Hands-on experience working with healthcare eligibility, member, and claims data in healthcare analytics or claims processing environments. Deep knowledge of healthcare claims and transaction data, including NCPDP, Member and Eligibility files, and standard formats such as 837, 835, and 271. Advanced SQL skills, including the ability to write, debug, optimize, and performance-tune complex queries against large-scale claims datasets independently. Experience with modern business intelligence or reporting platforms and cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake or comparable technologies. Demonstrated ability to build or overhaul client-facing reporting in environments where data foundations, processes, or documentation are immature or inconsistent. Strong business judgment and analytical thinking, with the ability to communicate complex findings clearly to executives, clients, and technical stakeholders. Ability to defend reporting results with evidence, identify uncertainty when it exists, and explain discrepancies across multiple data sources. Proven ability to integrate data from disparate and loosely documented systems and identify the underlying causes of reporting inconsistencies. Comfortable working independently in ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments and prioritizing work against broader business objectives. Strong track record of identifying data-quality and reporting issues and conducting effective root-cause analysis. Highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and proactive with a strong ownership mindset. Benefits: Base salary of $110,000–$120,000, with final compensation based on experience, skills, certifications, and other candidate-specific factors. Work from anywhere in the United States in a digital-first environment. Medical, dental, and vision insurance. FSA/HSA options. Tuition reimbursement. 401(k) plan with company match. Additional health and wellness benefits and perks. Flexible and trusting work environment designed to empower employees to perform at their best.
