Accountabilities: Engineering solution implementation: Implement, configure, and support engineering platforms including Unified Engineering, AVEVA Global, E3D, AVEVA Engineering, and complementary modules to meet customer and business requirements. IT and systems integration: Develop, support, and maintain integrations between engineering platforms and enterprise IT environments using REST APIs, SQL databases, data structures, data pipelines, and cloud technologies. Automation and customization: Create and enhance PML scripts and automation solutions to customize engineering workflows, improve efficiency, and optimize the overall user experience. Technical troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex issues involving data, configuration, integrations, system architecture, and enterprise infrastructure. System governance and best practices: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to establish effective governance, apply technical best practices, and maintain reliable engineering environments. Customer collaboration: Work closely with customers and internal engineering, architecture, and digital transformation teams to understand requirements, communicate solutions, and ensure successful technology adoption. Documentation and knowledge transfer: Produce clear technical documentation, support knowledge-sharing activities, and help users and colleagues build confidence with the implemented solutions. Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize engineering processes, improve system performance, and introduce innovative approaches that create measurable value for customers. Requirements AVEVA expertise: 5+ years of practical experience working with AVEVA solutions, particularly Unified Engineering, E3D, AVEVA Engineering, and AVEVA Global. PML expertise: Strong hands-on knowledge of Personal Macro Language (PML) for customization, automation, and engineering workflow optimization. Integration skills: Solid experience with REST APIs, SQL, data structures, system-to-system communication, and enterprise integrations. Infrastructure knowledge: Familiarity with enterprise environments including Windows Server, networks, permissions, and related infrastructure components. Technical problem solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex challenges involving system configuration, data, integrations, and architecture. Language skills: Advanced English proficiency is required; Spanish proficiency is a plus. Customer orientation: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers and multidisciplinary internal teams.
