As a Senior ASIC Design Verification Engineer, you will take ownership of digital SoC verification for advanced communication semiconductors and systems. You will work closely with architecture, design, and software engineering teams to plan and execute comprehensive verification strategies from specification through implementation. Accountabilities: Own and execute digital SoC verification activities across the full verification lifecycle, from specifications through coverage analysis and gate-level simulation. Work closely with architects, digital designers, and software engineers to develop comprehensive verification and validation plans. Develop and maintain verification environments using industry-standard methodologies and reusable testbench architectures. Create, execute, and automate functional tests, regressions, and verification workflows. Analyze simulation results, debug failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with design teams to resolve issues. Develop coverage strategies and analyze functional and code coverage to identify verification gaps. Support verification activities across complex automotive communication semiconductor designs and systems. Contribute to the development of reusable pre-silicon and post-silicon test infrastructure. Automate testbench creation, test execution, regression processes, and EDA-related workflows where appropriate. Collaborate with multidisciplinary and geographically distributed engineering teams throughout the design and verification process. Contribute technical expertise to verification strategy, methodology improvements, and engineering best practices. Communicate verification status, technical findings, risks, and results clearly through documentation and cross-functional discussions. Promote a collaborative, trustworthy, and high-quality engineering environment focused on technical excellence and strong execution. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline. 10+ years of professional ASIC verification experience. Strong understanding of ASIC verification fundamentals, methodologies, and industry-standard verification practices. Hands-on experience with Verilog and SystemVerilog. Strong experience with UVM and verification environment development. Proficiency with Python and TCL scripting, with experience using C and/or C++. Comprehensive understanding of the ASIC verification flow, including specification analysis, test planning, simulation, coverage analysis, and gate-level simulation. Strong debugging skills, including the ability to trace simulation failures to their root causes. Experience designing modular and reusable testbench architectures. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent technical documentation abilities. High attention to detail and commitment to producing reliable, high-quality verification results. Experience with networking technologies such as Ethernet MAC/PHY, switching, TCP/IP, security, PCIe, or other industry-standard protocols is an advantage. Experience with video standards, protocols, or video processing is a plus. Knowledge of digital signal-processing filters is beneficial. Experience working with third-party IP such as SerDes, controllers, processors, or similar components is valuable. Experience developing reusable pre-silicon and post-silicon testing infrastructure is a plus. Experience automating testbench generation, test execution, regression processes, or EDA tools is advantageous. Knowledge of SystemC and/or DPI is a plus. Ability to collaborate effectively across international teams and multiple engineering disciplines. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of complex technical challenges.
